Product Description
During World War II, the German Navy developed and produced the U-Boat VII type, with 655 submarines built between 1940 and 1944. A total of 11 missions were completed by the U-96, sinking 28 ships and destroying four others. In 1981, West Germany made a film based on the novel "U-Boat," written by Lother Gunter Guccheim.
It snaps together plastic model kit, and the parts are color-coded so you can get a great result just by assembling it; no paint is required! A torpedo and firing effect parts are included, as is a stand for display; a sticker of the emblem of the 9th Submarine Group "Laughing Sawfish" drawn on the control tower is included too.
