This is a TRUMPETER 701665 1/72 scale Chinese J-20 Mighty Dragon (Prototype NO.2011) aircraft plastic model kit.
The Chengdu J-20 is the first fifth-generation stealth fighter designed by Chengdu Aerospace Corporation, the aircraft referenced the existing fifth-generation fighters, the F-22 Raptor, the F-35 Lighting II, the PKA-FA from Sukhoi OKB, and then combine with their own particular design. The first prototype the No.2001 took off in 11 January, 2011 and the third at the same time, the latest No.2011 took off in 1 March, 2014. Comparing with the former two prototypes, the No.2011 made a lot of changes such as the intake, the canards, the vertical tail and many other adjustments including silver paint.
