The MiG-21 is a famous Soviet supersonic jet fighter and interceptor aircraft. It first flew in 1955 and more than 50 countries have variants. It still serves in some nations. It was the most produced supersonic jet in history. The MiG-21PF version incorporated a better radar, and it had slightly longer range for use as an all-weather fighter. The MiG-21, does not have an internal gun and relies on missiles for air-to-air combat.
