Product Description

This is a Hobbyboss 80243 1/72 P-51C Mustang Fighter plastic model kit.
In April 1940 the British Purchasing Commission negotiated with North American Aviation to design and build an advanced fighter for the RAF.  The result was the North American P-51 Mustang. It was a famous single-seat fighter aircraft of WWII.  The P-51C and Cs started to arrive in England in August and October 1943. The P-51 C versions were sent to 15 fighter groups that were part of the 8th and 9th Air Forces in England, and the 12th and 15th in Italy. Other deployments included the China Burma India Theater CBI. A total of 1750 P-51 Cs were built.
